Jet also chose TEIN Flex springs and shocks to provide his S2K with a lower stance. He adjusted the camber to allow maximum negative camber for the desperately needed rim and tire clearance. Strengthening the robust factory chassis are J's Racing rear lower X-beam bars, shock tower bars, an engine torque damper, and a Cusco four-point chromoly rollbar and harness bar. Taking pleasure in the extra firmness are 17-inch Work Emotions featuring a +44 offset all around and a 5x114 lug pattern. A J's Racing driveshaft spacer adds an aggressive edge. J's Racing lug nuts ensure the rims are firmly connected to the rest of the vehicle and a set of Falkens provide the grip.
Both S2000s appear finished, but things aren't always as they appear. "I don't think I'll ever be done with this car," Drew says. "I seem to want to get new items every six months," Jet says. Such statements are nothing less than accurate. Since the photo shoot, Drew installed a GReddy turbocharger while Jet is in the midst of installing his own. The two friends agree on almost everything: They both enjoy their S2000s, they both crave NSXs down the road, and they're both about to embark upon the world of boost. However, Drew and Jet did disagree on one thing when asked whose car reigned supreme. Drew: "Mine, of course." Jet: "No mine."
